OUR VISION, MISSION & VALUES
A World in which the Beauty & Worth of Humanity & All Creatures are Realized & Respected.

WHY WE DO
With increasing challenges facing Women & Children, all Creatures and Mother Earth right now, there is an increased need to share compassion connection and creativity, so that women and children can have reverence to their unique beauty, and the beauty of the world around them.
In 2019 the World Health Organization statistics showed us that more women and children are experiencing Rape, Domestic Abuse, Self-Harming, Bullying, Addiction, Eating Disorders, Mental Abuse, Depression, Suicide and Anxiety.

-
More than 1 in 3 women (35.6%) in the U.S. report having experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime.
-
Nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States.
-
Approximately 5 million children are exposed to domestic violence every year. Children exposed are more likely to attempt suicide, abuse drugs and alcohol, run away from home, engage in teenage prostitution, and commit sexual assault crimes.
OUR JOURNEY

Amitola Care Farm has already exceeded our targets so far in supporting over 872 women and children in our first year, developing increased self worth through our programs and one to one mentoring sessions, with a growing global community of over 800 women in a private Facebook group, who inspire and support each other daily.

OUR PLANS
Amitola Care Farm realizes that to expand our reach both locally and globally in the current climate we would benefit by offering transformative programs and animal assisted learning at the Care Farm and through community engagement.
Amitola Care Farm is busy creating a vision for the future and planning our sustainability. The Care Farm is set in 8 acres, inside beautiful grounds, South West of Indianapolis. We have five gentle miniature donkeys; Rainbows, Sunny, Pearl, Frieda, Clarence and then number six is Matilda, our very own Unicorn, two miniature horses, Buffalo Joe and Tiny Tonto, our three Cats, Nancy, Jack and Bella, and then last but definitely not least, is Luna Ray the family dog.

We are passionate about bringing this vision to life, when compassion meets action lives change. We are confident that with your support, we can spread love, compassion and rainbows to women and children when they need it most with the help of our adorable therapy animals.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Help comes in all forms. If you can contribute financially towards the completion of Phase 1 please know that any amount small or large makes a big difference and moves us forwards towards our ambitious goals to staff and serve vulnerable women and children through the summer of 2021 and beyond.

Running a farm-based, non-profit organization is expensive. Property, filming equipment, utilities, maintenance, marketing, feed, vetting, farrier, fundraising, transport, medication, supplements, animal care in general... it all adds up very quickly. The more donors who sign up to contribute monthly, the more long term decisions we can make confidently.
